CCS vs CC

Clow Storyline
Well, these are a little different. In both, Sakura is trying
to capture all the Clow Cards. But in CCS, it concentrates on Sakura. In Cardcaptors
they try to push Syaoran into every episode. Ick.
Sakura/Star Storyline
These are really different! I'm a little angry because CC makes
it look like Sakura doesn't care about the actual cards! Well, anyway... in CCS,
the reason Sakura is converting the cards is because she doesn't want them to
die. Since Clow Reed has been dead for so long the Clow cards are losing all of
their power. Sakura is friends with them, plus they aren't just cards... they're
living too!
But in CC, the storyline is different. If the cards aren't converted,
then they will be free again and can destroy the world! I like the CCS storyline
more, because it shows human compassion... ^^ It's also about friendship, and
that's the coolest.
Names
Whoa!! Lotsa names were changed... some of them are kind of alike,
but their pronounciations are wrong! For example in CCS Sakura is pronounced SA-koo-RAH
and in CC its pronounced sa-KOO-rah... yuck! Same thing with Clow... in CCS it
rhymes with oh like in "oh no!" and in CC it rhymes with cow... -_-
Also Syaoran's name was switched... from Syaoran Li to Li Showron. I mean come
on, how hard is it to just leave the name the same!
I think other names are weird too... Tori is a girls name, but
it's Touya's english name. Weird!! Madison is also a guy's name i think. That's
what I heard. Oh well...
Music/Background
Noo!!! The beautiful CCS music is all gone!! If you didnt notice
the Japanese take music pretty seriously. CCS had the best soundtrack ever! And
so many songs! I absolutely love them all. But Cardcaptors music is so dull....
sheesh.
They tried to make it sound mystical and stuff but instead it
just sounds crappy (sorry). I think CCS is a lot nicer...
Episodes
And double nooooo!! Thanx a lot Kids WB, you changed all the episode
ordering!!! We barely even got to see half of the whole show... sheesh. They start
on episode 8 so that Li is always there... not fair for Sakura!! And the storyline
is all messed up too... yuck.
Voice Actors
Ok for some of you that haven't seen CCS yet you may think the
CC voices are cool. But they aren't!! I mean all the young kids sound way too
old, and all the old kids sound weird! Like Sakura, she's supposed to be a happy
girl and only 10 years old! But in CC she sounds like she is 14 or 15...
And Tomoyo!! Poor tomoyo... she is supposed to be the sweetest
person ever, and with the sweetest voice but now she has the voice of a snob.
I can't believe she says "Whatever"!! What has gotten into them...?
